How a patrol runs

1. 1We patrol inside the hours and boundaries agreed with management — not whenever a truck happens to be nearby.
2. 2Plates are checked against your current permit and resident list.
3. 3Vehicles in violation are photographed in position, with the signage in frame.
4. 4Non-immediate violations get a sticker and the clock starts, per your policy.
5. 5Immediate hazards — fire lanes, hydrants, blocked ADA access — are removed per the ordinance and your posted rules.
6. 6Management gets the log: what was checked, what was found, what was actioned.

What patrols are good at

• Chronic violators who move just often enough to avoid a call-in.
• Fire lane and ADA control, where consistency matters more than volume.
• Overnight and weekend enforcement, when the office is closed.
• Abandoned vehicles that accumulate quietly at the back of a lot.
• Permit compliance drift, where residents stop displaying permits because nobody checks.

Keeping the permit list current

This is the part that mattersA patrol is only as accurate as the list it checks against. Stale permit data is what produces a towed resident and an angry phone call. We'll agree a process for keeping the list updated as residents move in and out, and how quickly changes take effect.
