RELEASE REQUIREMENTS (READ FIRST)

• ONLY REGISTRATION ACCEPTED for proof of ownership.

  • Bring current vehicle registration (VIN must match) and your government-issued photo ID.

  • Titles, bills of sale, insurance cards, or police releases are not accepted in place of registration.

• We do not handle police releases.
  We don’t tow for police and do not process law-enforcement release authorizations.

• CASH ONLY.
  Payment for tow, storage, and any allowed fees is cash only. No cards, checks, or electronic payments.

PLATES & REGISTRATION ISSUES

• Fake temporary tag or expired registration:

  • The vehicle must be towed out of our facility unless you present a valid metal plate and meet all other drive-out requirements.

  • No driving out with an invalid/expired paper tag or fake temp tag.

WHO CAN PICK UP

• Registered Owner (in person):

  • Photo ID + current registration (VIN must match).

• Third-Party Pickup (authorized person):

  • Signed authorization letter from the registered owner naming the pickup person.

  • Copy/photo of the owner’s ID attached to the letter.

  • Pickup person must bring their own photo ID.

  • (Third-party policy applies to PPI releases only. We do not accept police releases.)

TOW-OUT POLICY (SAFETY & INSURANCE)

• No outside tow companies are permitted on our lot.
  For safety and insurance reasons, only our trucks (or an approved partner we dispatch) may perform tow-outs from the yard.

• Need a tow-out?
  We can tow your vehicle to the street or to your destination. If the unit exceeds our equipment capacity, we’ll coordinate an approved partner that meets our insurance standards.

WHAT TO BRING

• Government-issued photo ID (owner or authorized pickup person)

• Current registration (VIN must match)

• Authorization letter + owner ID copy (only for third-party pickup)

• CASH for all charges

• Valid metal plate if you intend to drive out (and only if permitted—see above)

STEP-BY-STEP

1. Call us with plate/VIN to confirm the vehicle and charges.

2. Bring ID + current registration (and authorization letter + owner ID copy if third-party).

3. Pay in CASH and complete paperwork at the office.

4. Drive out (only if legally permitted) or schedule a tow-out with us.

FEES, STORAGE & PAYMENT

• Tow & storage are itemized; storage accrues daily from time of impound.

• After-hours/gate/admin fees may apply where allowed.

• Payment: CASH ONLY. No cards, checks, or electronic payments.

• We’ll give you an all-in cash total before release.

PERSONAL PROPERTY ACCESS

• With photo ID, you may retrieve essential personal items (e.g., medications, child seat) prior to full release.

• No tools or parts removal without completing the vehicle release.

DRIVE-OUT CHECKLIST (IF ELIGIBLE)

To drive the vehicle out, you must have:

• Valid driver’s license

• Current registration + valid metal plate

• Proof of insurance (for public roads)

• Roadworthy vehicle (lights/tires/fluids/brakes)

If any item is missing → Tow-out required (scheduled through us; cash only).

FAQs

Do you accept a title instead of registration?
No. Only current registration is accepted for release.

Can someone else pick up my car?
Yes—bring a signed authorization letter from the owner, a copy/photo of the owner’s ID, and the pickup person’s photo ID.

My car has a fake temp tag/expired registration—can I drive it out?
No. It must be towed out unless you provide a valid metal plate and meet all drive-out requirements.

Can I hire my own tow company to tow it out?
No. No outside tow companies on our lot. We will perform the tow-out or dispatch an approved partner.

Do you do police releases?
