Relocation of any vehicle type
To retrieve your vehicle from our impound lot, follow these steps:

Gather the Required Documents:
- Proof of Ownership: Bring your vehicle’s registration or title to prove ownership.
- Photo ID: A valid government-issued ID, such as a driver’s license, is required.
- Proof of Insurance: Some cases may require you to provide proof of insurance.
- Release Form (if applicable): If your vehicle was impounded by the police, you might need a release form from the relevant law enforcement agency.
Pay the Fees:
- Towing Fee: Covers the cost of towing your vehicle to our impound lot.
- Storage Fee: Charged daily, so retrieving your vehicle sooner can save you money.
- Administrative Fees: Any additional fees that may apply will be outlined when you contact us.
Visit Our Impound Lot:
- Visit us during our business hours M-F 10AM TO 5PM to retrieve your vehicle. Present all required documents and pay the applicable fees.
If your vehicle has been impounded at the 502 Towing and Recovery lot, you must retrieve the entire vehicle to access your belongings. Individual items cannot be removed from the vehicle without paying the necessary fees to release the entire car.
Exception: If your vehicle is being stored due to an accident, you may retrieve individual items from the vehicle without paying for the entire vehicle. Please contact us to make arrangements.
- 45-Day Pickup Requirement: You have 45 days to pick up your impounded vehicle. After 45 days, the vehicle and all its contents become the property of 502 Towing and Recovery and may be sold.
- Payment Required: For non-accident-related impounds, you must pay the towing and storage fees to retrieve your vehicle and its contents.
- No Partial Retrievals: For most impounds, we do not allow the removal of individual items unless it falls under the accident exception.

- Law Enforcement Request: Your vehicle may have been towed at the request of local law enforcement for various reasons, such as evidence collection or illegal activity.
